To build them requires special skills and talent.
Imagine attaching a rocket to the back of your car and figuring out a way to keep the car stable and planted to the ground.
Special Engineering talent is required to Design and Build these "Flying Angels" and it requires utmost creativity and intelligence to work around problems and create a safe, yet fast machine.
Adrian Newey and Niki Lauda both possessed this special talent and they used their knowledge of designing the best race cars to win multiple Formula 1 Championships.
Racecar engineering is called "Motorsport Technology Engineering", and it is different from Automobile Engineering. Young students can learn to become race car engineers by taking Bachelor's degree in “Motorsport Technology Engineering” provided by Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom - which is best motorsport course in the world.
I am Atharva Desai, 18 years old, with a passion for motorsport racing and race car engineering. I am Formula Car driver and have raced in multiple open-wheel cars in my short career. I matured from Go-kart to Formula Cars.
I have proudly worked with professional racing teams. I am determined and goal-oriented with a firm resolve to achieve my dreams.
I am currently preparing for Formula 3 racing at Milton Keynes, UK. My dream is to be the first Indian origin race car driver to be a Formula World Champion.
My First Goal is to get into racing Formula; the second goal is to win the World Championship Title.
