One more step towards achieving the dream
Too young to race F4 in 2019, Atharva spent the year from shaking cars down before race weekends to honing his skills by completing on-track test days. And the young driver is now itching to begin his quest in his rookie season in 2020.
With drivers from around the globe competing in the series, Atharva is all high with hopes to bring home the championship. Here’s all you gotta know about the championship to keep the adrenaline rushing!
To globally align the development of motorsport talent, the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), motorsport’s governing body, created the Formula 4 concept to structure a career ladder to Formula 1.
Drivers, mechanics, engineers and other support staff all start off in Formula 4 and graduate into F3, then F2 and finally reach the pinnacle of Motorsport, F1.

The Championship are organised as events over weekend in each host country, forming a tour of each nation. These tour can be independently promoted locally for increasing the awareness of motorsport. The championship commences the last week of March and runs until the last week of November, giving time between seasons for refurbishment.
